Who Is Nicolas Po?
Nicholas D. Popo, professionally known as Nicolas Po, is a Liberian actor, producer, director, screenwriter, and entrepreneur. Born on June 4, 1989, in Bong County, Liberia, he has spent more than sixteen years building a successful career in the film industry.
Throughout his career, Nicolas Po has acted in, directed, and produced numerous films, including Plantation Evil, My Child, Isata: The Justice Daughter, Why, All Is Gone, Dark Days, and several other productions that have contributed significantly to the growth of Liberian cinema.
Beyond Liberia, Nicolas Po has also expanded his career into Nigeria’s film industry, Nollywood, where he has worked as both an actor and producer. His involvement in international productions has strengthened cultural collaboration between Liberian and Nigerian filmmakers while broadening the reach of his work across Africa.
In addition to filmmaking, Nicolas Po is an entrepreneur committed to community development and leadership. He studied Public Administration at the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU), where he gained valuable knowledge in governance and organizational management.
