Liberia National Police Celebrates Graduation of Elite Special Force Officers After Intensive Eight Month Training in Rwanda

Liberia is bursting with national pride as a team of newly trained Special Force Officers has successfully completed a rigorous and demanding eight month Advanced Special Force Course at the Counter Terrorism Training Center in Rwanda marking a significant milestone in the development of the country’s security forces.

The officers who began their intensive training journey on October 9 2025 crossed the finish line on May 28 2026 emerging as highly skilled and professionally trained members of an elite unit that will play a crucial role in protecting the peace and security of the Liberian nation and its citizens.

The Advanced Special Force Course is no ordinary training program. Spanning eight full months the curriculum is designed to push officers to their absolute physical and mental limits equipping them with the advanced tactical skills counter terrorism techniques and professional discipline needed to handle the most complex and high stakes security situations. The fact that these Liberian officers completed the course with distinction is a testament to their extraordinary dedication and the quality of the Liberia National Police force.
